New bathrobes worked out

So, we needed some new bathrobes for the guesthouse, and I decided to try Richard Haworth. I wasn't totally sure what to expect since it was my first time buying bathrobes from them, but they came really fast, like way quicker than I thought they would. The bathrobes themselves feel pretty soft and the guests seem to like them, no complaints yet! It was an easy order process too, which is always nice when you're busy.

Always reliable for linens

I ordered more of their percale bed linen, specifically some fitted sheets and duvet covers. This isn't my first time ordering from them, and honestly, the quality is just what I've come to expect. They arrived quickly, just like my previous orders, and the linen holds up really well to repeated washing, which is important for us. It's good to know I can count on them for consistent products without any surprises.

Are their Black Friday deals usually any good? Trying to plan a big order for next season.

D Dan 2 months ago
They do have sales around then, usually for trade accounts. I've seen some decent discounts, like 15-20% off certain lines.

Yeah, their seasonal stuff like Black Friday or Spring Refresh usually has some good bulk discounts. Worth waiting if you can.

So if I'm just a regular person buying for my home, not a business, can I still order from them? Their stuff looks really nice.

T Todd Beaumont 2 months ago
Yep, you can. They primarily target hotels but they don't stop individuals from buying. I've done it a few times.

Totally, I got some duvet covers from them last year just for my house. No problem at all.

Does anyone know the minimum order for free shipping? I'm trying to figure out if it's worth adding a few extra items.

J June E. 2 months ago
I think it's over 100 quid, if I remember right. For UK orders at least, might be different for international.

Yeah, it's 100. Always try to hit that mark to save on shipping.

I'm thinking about getting some of their sateen sheets. How do they compare to percale in terms of feel? Is one much better than the other?

A Alex T. 2 months ago
Sateen is usually softer, a bit more silky feeling and has a slight sheen. Percale is crisper, more matte. Depends what you like, I prefer sateen for my guest rooms.

Percale feels cooler, great for summer. Sateen is more luxurious, I think. Both are good quality though.

How do Richard Haworth sheets stack up against, say, Mitre Linen? Looking for a new supplier for my hotel.

B Beth R. 2 months ago
I've used both. RH tends to be a bit more durable in my experience, especially for the price. Mitre is good, but RH lasts longer through washes.

RH's Egyptian cotton stuff feels a bit more luxurious than what I got from Mitre. But Mitre's basic polycotton is fine for budget options. Depends on your hotel's vibe.
